Outfit | Ebony & Ivory

If you haven't guessed it already, I'm back with Monochrome, black & white, or as some may call it,

ebony & ivory

I can't help but say, or rather, sing the song by Stevie Wonder and Paul Mc Carthy. I just love how the lyrics have such a deep meaning, especially in regard to racism. While they use the keys of piano's as the primary example, they mainly try to bring the message across that black and white people can live together in perfect harmony. Hence these precise words forming part of the lyrics, followed by 'side by side on my piano, keyboard, oh lord, why can't we?'

Well, just as the lyrics goes, but somewhat in a different context, black and white goes perfectly in fashion.

And today's skirt is black and white, side by side on my body!

I do apologize for the quality of some of the pics. I actually shot some in the morning, as well as the evening. Our camera malfunctioned during the latter period and we had to use a more inferior quality camera to finish off. Hope the overall idea of the outfit comes through though.

skirt | edgars

top | young designers emporium

jacket | edgars

shoes | nine west

necklace | legit

bangles | lovisa and edgars

sunglasses | foschini

bag | edgars

And that's it! Lol, I have been struggling to get this post up because I was a bit two-minded about it due to the bad pictures. But I thought, you know what, I put myself and my cameraman through too much time and effort in shooting this to just toss it aside!

Anyhoo, I hope you are all having a fab day. Thank you so much for reading. I hope that you will drop by my blog again for more fashion, beauty, hair, nails and diy!

Much love,
